DALLAS – April 1, 2019 – Preston Hollow Capital (PHC), an independent specialty municipal finance company based in Dallas, announced today the hiring of two senior professionals in its Originations and Tax groups. The addition of Frederick Putnam (Executive Director – Financing) and Kelly Steinhebel (Tax Director) will complement PHC’s current team and expand the firm’s financing capabilities.

Kelly Steinhebel joins PHC as Tax Director, with responsibility for managing the firm’s tax policies and objectives. Ms. Steinhebel brings over 12 years of experience focused on tax compliance and planning for hedge fund and private equity fund clients. Before joining PHC, Ms. Steinhebel was a senior manager with Deloitte Tax LLP where she led and managed compliance and planning for her investment management clients. In addition, while at Deloitte, she worked with the investment management tax leadership on tax reform issues and regularly taught national training in investment management.
Ms. Steinhebel received her BBA, Accounting and MPA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Frederick Putnam, Executive Director – Financing, joins PHC’s Originations team from Morgan Stanley’s Public Finance group in New York, where he was also an Executive Director. Mr. Putnam will focus on the development of debt capital strategies for the firm. He has over 11 years of experience in public finance, including roles with UBS and J.P. Morgan Securities prior to his role with Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Putnam graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in Economics and was recognized as a Florida Academic Merit Scholar.
